Triac Composites is currently manufacturing a significant number of fire boxes - cabinets for fire extinguishers and hoses - for an ASEAN-based client.
The boxes will end up at sea on a large ocean-going vessel - hence the client's requirement that they be made from composite materials.
The composite boxes which include fire retardant, won't rust in the salty environment and are lightweight.
The pictures above and below show boxes that are still in the early stages of the manufacturing process.
The order will be completed with a high gloss finish and will be ready for shipping in June 2019.
