Triac Composites is now looking for a General Accountant. (Our office is located inside our factory, near Cat Lai Port, District 2, HCMC (as advertised today on Vietnamworks.)
The essentials
Salary: VND14-18m

JOB DESCRIPTION
General Accountant
Manage suppliers’ and clients’ accounts
Prepare accounting books (inc. COGs)
Liaise with banks to reconcile data etc
Use Vietnamese accounting software (we are currently looking to implement AccNet accounting software and so a sound understanding of this program will be highly regarded as well as Xero)
Track and record materials used for each project
Input all petty cash transactions and reconcile cash account
Keep accounts receivable/payable data up to date on a daily basis
Issue red invoices
General data entry management as appropriate
Human Resources - Support
The accountant will also need to support Human Resources with:
Payroll preparation
Social Insurance reports
Relevant union issues
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Maintain and develop accounting controls, as appropriate
Maintain and develop financial reports for tax authorities and management, as appropriate
Ensure confidentiality of all financial and personal information
Keen attention to detail
Deadline-oriented
Time management skills
General math skills
Computer and software skills, including AccNet accounting software
Able to work in a team environment and to work alone, as appropriate
Be trustworthy and honest
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
Good English skills
Please note, all accounting is overseen by management together with an outsourced accounting consulting company which advises on tax compliance, reporting etc.
Benefits and compensation
Salary: VND14-18 million per month
Working time: 7.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday
Location of work: Cat Lai Industrial Zone #2, HCMC
All insurances required by labor laws AND personal accident cover outside of working hours
Annual leave: 12 days/ year

Working environment: Office has 10 staff (Vietnamese and Australian. Factory has 70 staff) - professional, flexible – and fun!
